🌱 Atelier des coûts · Garden
Mowing, pruning, landscaping: the app works out the cost price of every service — labour, plants, travel — and the margin it really leaves you. And the quote goes out in two taps.

Built for your trade
The price of your gardening services, plant margin, travel: the app works it all out.
Mowing, hedge trimming, clearing, landscaping: every service has its own cost price, margin and recommended price, in its own unit.
Overheads, equipment, billable hours: the app works out the hourly rate that pays the business, not just the petrol for the mower.
Flat fee or per visit: the trip goes into the cost price instead of out of your pocket.
Snap the invoice from the nursery or wholesaler: plants, compost and mulch update — and your cost prices with them.
Once the right price is set, build the quote from your priced services and send it — from the garden if you like.
The monthly gauge shows whether your margin covers your fixed costs — handy for getting through winter with peace of mind.

↗FAQ
Quotes, hourly rate, plants: the sums behind a landscaper who makes a living.
A quote is built on the cost price: planned hours × all-in hourly rate + plants and supplies (with their mark-up) + travel + equipment. Then add your target margin to get the price excl. VAT. The app runs this calculation service by service, which makes the quote quick to assemble and hard to argue with.
You commonly see 25 to 45 €/h excl. VAT depending on the region, the equipment involved and the technical skill required. The right figure starts from your overheads: (loaded wages + equipment + vehicle + insurance + fixed costs) ÷ genuinely billable hours. Think about seasonality: the quiet winter months have to be covered by the rate charged in the busy ones.
A multiplier of 1,5 to 2,5 on the nursery purchase price excl. VAT is common. It covers transport, handling, losses and the replacement guarantee you give the client. Billing plants at catalogue price with no mark-up means paying for any losses out of your own hours.
Estimate the real time (access, obstacles, clearing the clippings), multiply by your hourly rate, add equipment and travel, then bring it back to a per-m² figure. Example in the app: a mow costs 0,52 € per m²; with a 35% margin, the recommended price is 0,84 € incl. VAT per m². The rate naturally tapers down on larger areas.
Two approaches: a flat fee per visit (common for recurring maintenance) or a mileage cost built into the quote. What matters is that it shows up in your cost price — a daily round trip left unbilled on a week-long job wipes out a good chunk of the margin.
